Stomach Shaping: What Are 3 Points You Need To Keep In Mind When Investigating Stomach Exercises?
With hundreds of stomach shaping products and exercise programs on the market, it seems impossible to find the ideal workout routines for your abs. Does this mean you should just pin up a list of these products and throw darts at them? No! If you just keep these three points in mind, you will be able to quickly weed through the worthless products and exercises.
- What Is Your Fitness Level?
Remember that great ab workouts for your best buddy may not be best for you. Both of you may be big, but if your buddy is bulky and beefy, while you are just flabby, asking him to recommend his favorite abdominal work out tips is not the best way to go. You probably won’t be able to manage it.
Ditto for the reverse. Great ab workouts for flabby people will not show much effect for you if you are bulky and beefy. Exercises for flabby people are usually too easy for people with more muscle on them, even if those muscles are hidden under a layer of fat.
You also want to check out the intensity of the program. Is it right for your fitness level? If a component of the training program includes 30 minutes of aerobics, can you handle this workout? Or will you be left gasping for breath after just 5 minutes of exercise?
- How Much Time Can You Afford To Spend?
You are spoiled for choice nowadays. There are stomach shaping routines which only need 5 minutes a day, there are routines which need 30 minutes everyday, there are even routines which need 45 minutes 3 times a week. Which one is best for you depends on how much time you can afford to spend. A few years ago, I slimmed down from my 42-inch waist to 36 inches in 6 months, spending just 5 – 10 minutes everyday. At that time, I was working around 60 – 70 hours every week and did not have much time to spare on exercise.
What is your situation? How much time do you have for exercise?
- What Is Your Goal?
What are you looking for? 6-pack abs? Or just to drop your waistline by 2 inches? Or maybe you just want to tone some flabby muscles? Different workout routines for your abs target different goals. On the surface, many of these exercise programs look similar. There is often an aerobics workout to build up your stamina and help you burn fat. Modern programs also include a spot of calisthenics or weight-lifting to strengthen your muscles and burn fat even while you sleep. A good stomach shaping program will include some tips on your diet. Depending on your goal, the structure of these programs will be different.
Ultimately, the fastest way to get your 6-pack abs is to work with a personal trainer who can develop a training and dietary program especially for you. For the rest of us, we’ll just have to make do with a commercial stomach shaping routine designed around our fitness level, time and goals. It won’t work as fast, but its a far sight better than just sitting around on the sofa.
